Calvin switched jobs and decided to brew his special coffees and teas here, and we really mean special, none of that kopi siu dai stuff. His Abyss Nitro Cold Brew coffee and Lady Grey are done with professional coffee machines and draft beer dispensers he uses just for his own-made brews. This is easily one of the most expensively set up beverage stalls in a hawker centre. Just check out his equipment; "it's like a pub," he says. We also love his Chinois Sparkling Tea with a light sweet perfume of citrussy goodness and the sparkle on the cold brew. If you like it different yet not strange, gulp down his cold Chinese tea brews like Iron Arhat and Ping Pong Tie Guan Ying… sugarless and absolutely refreshing. Prices are naturally a tad north of the usual but it's very affordable by world standards and it's less than half of what the fancy cafes would charge (if they offer these things at all), at press time, that is. Don’t trust the operation hours suggested anywhere, his hours are very random and ad hoc.
