Mary is a retired widow and just wants to cook and please her customers. Besides her signature Kerala home meals (see Indian section), she does a mean and decadent steak meal. The slab of rib eye is marinated lightly in an Asian style recipe and seared over high fire in her home kitchen stove and pan. You choose how you want it done and it still comes out soft and juicy with hints of the marinade. The range of side dishes is quite generous, including sweet corn, garlic and cheesy mozzarella bread, spiced carrots, potatoes, a pomegranate salad (depends on availability) and a rich bbq mix sauce (which we feel you won't really need). Dessert can be an old school Cherry Jubilee or whatever is great for the day. You have them all in her comfortable and charming house in the east.
