First bite in and you get that "made by ah ma (granny)" sensation. The yam flavour comes shining through and the generous strips of yam add to the whole experience and texture. There’re bits of hae bi or dried shrimp with mushrooms. The chilli provided is the cherry on the cake, its crispy hae bi sambal, and the shallots provided are also an added pleasure to this snack. The prices are not hawker-friendly but it's good value.
