Tahu Goreng

Tahu Goreng is a thick slab of bean curd, fried, quartered and doused with a bold and spicy satay peanut sauce, topped with bean sprouts and julienned cucumber and carrots. Tahu Telor, on the other hand, is broken pieces of bean curd mixed with beaten eggs and then deep-fried in a tubular or cubic mould. The eggs fluff up with crispy edges and the soft tofu and eggs remain inside. The pour a spicy peanut sauce or a chilli spiked sweet kicap manis, or both, over it.
