You can count with just one hand the number of stalls specialising in this Hakka snack left in Singapore. Call it the original tofu burger if you must. A fried, yet soft inside tofu is slit and stuffed with a mish-mash of chopped fish cakes, crispy fried yam, braised pork and duck, then slathered with a thick, meaty brown sauce and their signature lime chilli sauce. Three pieces, and it’s a meal, and it best to order a side platter of braised duck, fish cakes, belly pork and green to complete the show here.
