They basically make two key items here – Rose Crackers and Rempeyek. As we review this even a month after we bought them, it still retains its crispiness and sharp flavours. The rempeyek, a small bite-sized snack, is laden with fresh, freshly done ikan bilis and peanuts or green beans (minus the rancid flavour the comes from using re-used oils). It is nary oily, and the thin film of cracker reminds us of papadums; light and crackly good. Bits of herbs like lime leaves are buried in the batter and it is so teasingly moreish. The rose crackers, again, come hardly oily and the sweetness is well tempered. It reminds us of a well-made love-letter snack. It is light and does not scratch the palate on the way in as you chomp in. Order online only.
