Peter used to be a crab supplier and got tired of selling so he decided to hawk them in the quaint little coffeeshop along Geylang. Where folks gather to watch weekend TV football matches sometimes. He knows his crabs so you can be assured they are meaty Sri Lankan wonders. It is first poached then grilled for maximum smokey flavour and he smears it with black pepper sauce as it grills. It is served amazingly aromatic, along with three dips: mayonnaise, wasabi soy, and sambal (or soy chilli). Peter sold his business to a friend in 2024 and now remains a part-time cook and the menu has expanded to include garlic butter and even scallops.

Daniel Teo and his partners should be given a bravery award for opening this stall amid the Covid pandemic. Firstly, because it's in a secluded (but cozy cul de sac) kopitiam near a Hakka cemetery and secondly, for offering a brave specialty.. blood cockles or see hum. But he knows Singaporeans love to die this shellfish, especially the larger ones. He brings them in from East Malaysia and they wash, shuck, and clean them daily (about 100kg a day!). It is quickly blanched and then chilled. They are perfectly done with juices intact and comes with a sharp Thai-style chilli (he has a Thai cook in attendance). It cost a tad more but come evening, almost every table in the kopitiam has an order of the see hum (both larger and normal sized). Their menu includes giant oysters (almost the size of an adult palm) and local mussels. The other items not to miss are the Moo Yang, grilled honeyed pork, and the steamed gong gong (whelks) with a spicy sharp thai chilli sauce.
