You will see stuff like sambal quails egg and chilli sausage, not quite things you find in a true nasi padang stall. But they are nasi kampung melayu folks. Rendang, opor ayam, chicken rendang, lemak nangka (baby jackfruit) are all just some the favourites here. Their rendang comes chunky yet soft and flaky. Peel it off and savour the beefy goodness over rice. The chicken rendang is parboiled then finished in a thick rich and saucy rempah. Both, outstanding. The other goodies are black squid, sambal prawns and assam pedas fish. The queue forms by 11am, so go early.
