Power Rojak Bandung 503 West Coast Dr #01-63 Ayer Rajah Food Ctr (Map) 12.15pm – 7.45pm Daily
Mon
It's a Muslim stall (not many Malay cooks are known to do this dish) but they execute this Chinese style rojak, with grilled cuttlefish, crispy yu tiao (dough fritters), kangkong, and lots of crushed nuts, with aplomb. It's as good as, if not better than the Chinese folks. No corners cut on quality here. The roasty and crispy yu tiao and grilled cuttlefish, is what draws the queue here everyday (they form before the stall opens). The sauce of kicap manis, hae ko (sweet prawn paste) and sambal with a squeeze of lime, sends you into a tizzy and a momentary loss of sanity. It's comfortably numb and satisfying.
