Durian BB
Blk 462 Crawford Lane #01-65 (Map) 2pm – 10pm Mon
This is a new gen style durian café set up by a Singaporean living in Shanghai, with outlets in Malaysia using their durians and now, with his first outlet in Singapore. It targets both the old-school hard-core durian lovers and the younger millennials. There is the ubiquitous seller out front of the fancy café cracking open a mountain of durians but once inside, it is another story. The menu has instagrammable durian chendol, burnt durian cheesecake, a fancy range of tarts, cakes and desserts served by a team of cheerful and friendly servers. The “oldies” will like there ‘petit four” a little platter four, big seeds of different durians (best of the day)- from XO, D24 to Mao Shan Wang prime editions. The burnt cheesecake had a lovely aroma of durian, and it was rich, thick and very addictive.
