Keng Wah Sung Kopitiam.. They are one of the last few old coffeeshops that make their own kaya and sell it too. This pandan and browned sugar version is just sweet enough like it should be, not pretentious. lt less sugar and less taste just for the sake of it. They sell them in plastic containers with no fancy jars and packaging and all the goodness is just that. Smear it over toast with a wedge of salted butter and you'll know why kaya toast is the national breakfast and tea sandwich of Singapore.
