This is just an ordinary stall. The morning beehoon looks bland with only some bean sprouts and the porridge feels so simple that you can do it at home. But, make no bones about this one, the beehoon is so comfortably flavoured and stir-fried with a smooth, savoury sauce and perfectly sweetened with those bits of bean sprouts. You don't need fancy toppings (which they don't offer anyway). The plain-looking porridge is infused with dried fish and dried scallops, so subtle yet so prominent to the palate. You can see the crowds are largely older folks looking for great flavours and very affordable prices. Trivia many buy both the porridge and beehoon and the mix it up before the tear in. Go try this experience.
