Hum Chim Beng is a deep-fried flattened pastry sometimes filled with tau sar or red bean paste. You Char Kway is the common fried dough fritter stick that is a staple across China and many parts of the world. Jian dui is a fried hollow sesame dough ball of dough sprinkled with sesame seeds and filled with sweet crushed nuts or bean fillings. These fried snacks are usually sold together. These Chinese snacks are often enjoyed with coffee, Chinese tea or soya bean milk.

They specialise in making only yu tiao fritters and they supply them fresh to many of the hawkers around, from porridge to rojak sellers. You won't find butterfly buns or hum cheem peng here, like at other such stalls. The fritters are done with such a light airy yet crispy feel, and the inside is fluffy and not dense. The savoriness is very obvious which makes them so toothsome, especially when dunked into porridge or a cup of local kopi.
