This little nondescript corner coffeeshop has more than what meets the eye. Besides the usual fried rice, noodles and prawn noodle soup, their range of cze cha dishes is more than interesting. Beer loving folks will adore their prawn paste chicken and the ultimate beer mate-the crispy pork trotters, German style with and bbq sauce, black pepper and curry mayo. The edge is the fruit wood ham smoke aroma- it permeates and is so moreish, with crispy crackling and moist meat. They have a unique Nonya Assam Fish but done with jackfruit – this lends such a wonderful sensation to this sharp Nonya classic. We also like their tempura crayfish in spicy salted egg yolk sauce – such a delightful starter. Boss Milton Wee is a Peranakan makan entrepreneur of sorts, running a couple of brands and is very imaginative with his menu here.
